Not hating, but the problem with tomorrows fight....

Is the fact that Dzin has been extremely inactive.

It's been about 2 1/2 years since he fought a decent opponent (if you can even call Joel Julio that) and in the Dawson, which he was suppose to shake off ring rust, he didn't look too impressive.

He is a great fighter, but when you look at his circumstances coming into the fight, it's kinda hard to expect expect him to knock off Martinez. He has the tools but again the inactivity and the fact he faced 2 lackluster fighters really won't get him ready for a fighter like Martinez.

I hear what your saying. I'm just glad he's atleast trying to fight the best around his weight and not cherry picking fighters in other weight classes like other chump champs.

I'm really trying to get excited about this fight but I just can't for some reason.

Even though it's a joke of a fight, Cotto vs Mayorga seems much more appealing and has a better undercard. aaaahhh

Martinez is gonna throw some mean right hooks, he usually does against southpaws

he looked very sharp vs dawson and julio is definitely a DECENT opponent.

i think the real problem is that maravella just has too much game.

i like this card and I'm ***n pumped for it

yeah, but Dzinziruk doesn't give his opponents too many opportunities to land cleanly and counter him. I just have a feeling it's going to be a relatively boring fight. A competitive one, but as far as excitement/action it may be lacking.

Maybe I'm wrong and Dzinziruk breaks his mold, or Martinez is just too beastly for him, but I doubt it.

yeah I actually like the matchup but I just see Dzin's timing being off and him not being as accurate with his jab.

I see Martinez catching him a lot because of that, and him probably getting a KO or TKO stoppage.

If Dzin was more active (he couldn't really control that due to his contract issues) then I feel this would be a really evenly contested bout.

I hear Dzinziruk is a very hard worker, so his inactivity may not be as much as a factor as some might think.

                    It'll be a decent card.

It's better than no boxing and I will not paying for the Cotto card.
