The more I analyze this fight, the more I think it may be a more difficult and competitive fight than Vitali (and boxing fans) are used to. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into the hype Solis is getting on these boards.
On the otherhand, Solis didn't look anything special in his last fight against Ray Austin. I saw nothing in him during that fight that would indicate he will give Vitali any trouble. He's a very slow starter, is lethargic and his offense was nonexistent at times.
I can't even point it out, he just exudes a faded vibe to me. Doesn't look any better than I've seen him before. He is closing in on 40 after all.
Yeah, the guy hating on Vitali fans all thread says Vitali looks faded...but can't point out how? Next time you have an opinion, but can't point out a single reason to back it up...just keep it to yourself. Whats the point? Wake me up when Vitali loses around...hell wake me up when Vitali loses 30 seconds of a round. In these photos there is nothing that shows he is faded at all. He looks more cut than ever, much more vascular, and in the pictures you see his sparring partners keeling over from his shots...He might be almost 40, but the issue isnt that he is so out of prime, the issue is that he is really only 10 years into his pro boxing career. It is a shame that at 40 years old, Vitali really only had 10 years as a professional...imagine what he could have done without 4 years off and without starting professional boxing at 25. Its scary how amazing Vitali Klitschko could have been and probably would have been if he was born 10 years later. He is the living example of why the past "greats" are inferior and will be inferior to the present and future boxers. They never had to face half the world. Had vitali been born a decade later, he wouldnt have spent so much time on karate and kick boxing and would have gone straight into boxing.
Vitali is gonna punish that fat ass Solis. Solis is lazy bastard he can win only against journeymen. Vitali is warrior, very intelligent guy outside of the ring
Solis will beat this over-rated steroid junkie Vitali. The guy is gonna get karma slapping him in the face when the great Cuban beats him. Haye will be next for Solis. Then the GREAT Audley Harrison will beat this bum Solis in 2 rounds. UNBREAKABLE!
WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (41-2, 38KOs) is picking up the pace for next Saturday's mandatory title defense against unbeaten mandatory challenger Odlanier Solis (17-0, 12KOs) of Cuba. I think that's what's happening. Vitali will lose a round at most, he's going to dominate like always
The first thing I noticed is Vitali's got skinny arms. I mean he's always been kind of skinny armed, but as he gets older it seems like his arms are getting less vascular.
