The only person I've seen put JMM on his back at WW is Floyd Mayweather. If that isn't punching power, than I'd like to see a better example.

as usual jmm got caught off balance, floyds punch didnt even faze jmm, was no power, only quickness. your post is correct, nothing false. considering he HASNT fought anyone else at that division. and a better example of punching power is the punch that mosley caught floyd with.

I can't believe people think Mayweather would have just embarrassed Margarito back in 2005 or 2006. If Mayweather had fought Margarito at any point before the Cotto fight, it would have been one of the toughest fights of his career. Margarito would have had that hell bent on destruction type mentality he brought into the ring against Cotto, and Floyd would have had to be as slick as he has ever been.

Margarito is big, relentless, strong, knows how to back fighters into the ropes, and refused to let his opponents get comfortable. Mayweather wouldn't have been able to hurt him, would not have been able to stand in front of him, and would have had a hard time circling him without ending up on the ropes where Margarito could do damage. At the very least, Mayweather gets busted up and really has to work for the win.

Please name me a fight where Mayweather has been "busted up." Show me a pic of Floyd's face after any fight where it looks like he just got beat up in the least. Please post the link, thanks.

How did Pac look when got knocked out , going by that the same Mosley punch puts Pac on his ass , Floyd did great to take it and to still control the round and totally dominate the same Shane Mosley Pac didnt want to fight and batently ducked , now after Floyd and Mora prove Shane has very little left , Pac wants to fight him , what a ***en scam , some of you fellas appear to have been watching boxing for a year or 2 tops , ya just talk so much utter rubbish .

I ain't a Mayweather hater at all. I just think Margarito has the ferocious kind of workrate, stamina and chin to really bother Floyd. He'd get hit a lot but so what? Mayweather can't hurt Margarito, no way no how. Margarito would miss a lot, but I think he could exhaust Floyd with the frenetic pace he sets. It's by no means an easy fight for Margarito and in no way is he the greater fighter, but it's a bad matchup for Floyd.

if you think anyone can exhaust floyd youre incorrect. floyd is always in unbelievable condition in terms of stamina just like pacquiao
