What it means is that pound 4 pound who's the most talented boxer out there.
What does P4P mean?

p4p to me, means what you do with what you've got.
A good example is in weightlifting. It's more impressive to see a 150 pound man lift 400 lbs, than it is to see a 300 pound man lift 450. The smaller guy is pound for pound better, but the bigger guy is still better in literal terms.
Alot of 140lb stars are p4p better than most heavyweights today, but in literal terms, would get decapitated
P4p is a useless termComment

same thing goes for all-time greatest lists.
Gee......how goddamn boring a fight fan are you ?
You think you're superior for avoiding those things ?
I think your avoidance of those things makes you quite limited.Comment

Lb4lb......
If all weights were equal....who's the best in the world ?
Who has beaten the best opposition, how have they done it, what have they done for us lately, who would win in mythical matchups ?
Those are the questions that have to be answered for someone to qualify as a lb4lber.
Useless ? Maybe, but what a bore you are for not taking part in the debate & discussion that it brings !Comment

I feel the same way. Yes, p4p lists are subjective and fantastical, but that's why they're so fun to discuss. If everything is boxing was clear cut, there'd be no point in having discussions in this message board.Originally posted by jabsRstiffLb4lb......
