    What does P4P mean?

We use P4P alot, we question who should be on P4P lists, make our own, but what the hell does it really mean? Does it have any importance at all other than to put fighters on a pedistal over others?

its just for argument's sake, so that we have something else to complain to each other about....

it's just like the title belt situation: completely subjective, relatively meaningless, extremely confusing to the avg. sports fan

just for the record, i never make p4p lists and think they're completely useless.

same thing goes for all-time greatest lists.

I went with Skill but I think alot of other factors apply to heart, dedication, and how well you Perform against the top level fighters at your Weight class.

I think the whole P4P thing is way overrated. I have to go with skills.

If its based on skill, why does a fighter need to beat a fighter inorder to get on?

If its on accomplishments, why do fighters taken off after a loss, unless of course they are popular.

P4P means you're accomplishments at the TIME and how you did it..

For example, Hopkins lost, but he really should'nt move down because he beat the **** out of Taylor.

So B-Hop remains #1 on my list, p4p isn't designed for what a fighter did 10 years ago, it's all about recent accomplishments.

For example, Floyd is super talented but hasn't fought a good fighter since 2003(*****)

You can't be #1 off one win either.

So you think Bitchkins won the fight??? I didn't see Bitchkins beating the **** out of Taylor. He landed some perfect punches on Taylor in the last 3 rounds & that's all he did. Taylor took his best punches.
