i could give a **** ass if a fighter was fluent in five different languages. If a fighter is exciting and scores knockouts i wouldnt care if he was a mute.

I think this is a valid point. Spanish in particular is a great language and I intend to learn.

I agree, however, by not learning English those guys are robbing themselves of exposure and publicity/money. Saul Alvarez in particular could become the most marketable fighter since Oscar De La Hoya if he were to learn English.

At first, I thought Mayorga spent his time thinking up of his rants while the translator was saying it in English, but I've seen his pure Spanish pressers and the guy's impressive. His mouth is like a floodgate of trash talk. No hesitation at all and with conviction.
