I didn't see anything wrong with his stamina, it takes someone to be in great shape to be throwing those power shots for 12 rounds.

He does need to work more on his defense, especially his head movement and coming in a little too wild at times, especially when he feels like he has someone hurt. He is wide open then but the kid is only 20, he has a lot of time to get better.

It's a shame Matt Hatton couldn't gain any sort of respect with his punches.

It made it a bit boring to watch, tbh.

Canelo didn't give a monkey's about what was coming back at him. I doubt he gained anything from that fight.

You always gain something from a fight, always. I agree though that his defensive skills didn't gain anything because half way through the fight he was coming in with his hands down and wide open and didn't care.

Hatton gained my respect that's for sure, I knew he was a though guy but this was impressive. I think most guys get knocked out by some of those shots but held on and fought back.

It was definitely a one sided fight.

Yeah, Hatton is a fighter like he says.

That's his evaluation and that's good enough and he's had a nice boxing career regardless of Ricky.

Matt Hatton gained some respect stateside for his toughness.

You might be right about Canelo but I find it hard to see what he would have did differently if he fought MattHatt again. He'd beat him in similar fashion 99 times out of 100.

I wouldn't have problem with the fight but it was for a world title.

hattons power.I just dont want him getting used to having his hands down.

Yea but it wasn't because of stamina, it was because he had no respect for Hatton's power.

Canelo is young, I know people don't like to hear that but he is and he has time to learn.

                  I personally like the kid.
