So what turned out to be wrong with Dimitrenko when he passed out before they were last supposed to fight?

If I remember correctly it was food poisoning (officially)

His effusive peroration sounds rather confused. I still think it was VERY strange that whatever ailment he had, chose to show itelf JUST before he got into the ring. Maybe it was nervous excitement. Food poisoning would have been making him ill, giving him stomach problems.

A sudden fainting, just pre-fight, is extremely strange, probably will never be properly explained until his "biography: is written.

I think Dimitrenko felt he wasn't fully prepared for the fight, and so faked the passing out. And his doing that of course was very unfair to Sosnowski.

He sounds like he feels he's ready now. I hope Sosnowski wins.

The promoter of the show should have a replacement opponent waiting in the wings should Dimitrenko pull the same stunt. I rememer that the promoter for the Ibragimov-Briggs fight scheduled Calvin Brock's fight (he was on the same card) as the last fight of the evening. That way if Briggs pulled out last minute, then Brock could've stepped in immediately. Even though Briggs did fight, I though that was great foresight by the promoter...
