Comments Thread For: Erik Morales: Not Worried About Maidana's Power or Perez

Former three division champion Erik "El Terrible" Morales continues to train hard at the Otomi Ceremonial in Temoaya (Mexico State) for the battle with the hard puncher from Argentina, junior welterweight Marcos Maidana. Their battle takes place on April 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Well he certainly has the right mind set about winning, but I think he NEEDS to show Maidana's power some respect once they step in the ring. Otherwise Morales could get seriously hurt

No question about it, Maidana is going to hurt Morales. I just hope he dosen't take a long severe beating, i hope Maidana ends it in 1 or 2 rounds.

I guess I'm the only one that is more concern for Maidana than I am of Morales. Not because he might get seriously injured but because of the chance he might lose 2 in a row. It would also hurt his career and his stand as top elite in the 140 division. Morales is a dangerous fighter with great technique.

Everyone is just following Roaches concern that Morales might get seriously injured. Now all of sudden everyone is concern for Morales health. Shame on all of you! Morales is a grown man, a proven champion, one of the mexican greats. Morales knows what he's getting into. Let the man fight. Mark my words...You ALL will be surprise come APRIL 9th. Win or lose Morales can hold his own.

I guess Maidana could fight down to his competion.

            I doubt it though.

Maidana should take him out with-in 5.

erik morales has more skills than maidana and that gives him a chance to win.,but maidana is dangerous to the last minute of the fight so it's going to be interesting.
