James DeGale's maiden British super middleweight title defense against George Groves has been provisionally pencilled in for April 9 according to the BBBoC’s latest championship circular. There had been talk of Frank Warren hosting the fight on his upcoming May 21 bill. However, Hayemaker’s Head of Boxing, David Coldwell, has secured London’s Olympia for the domestic grudge match.

I think DeGale has the edge in skills. Good domestic fight for the fans. I am bias toward Degale though as I have a pair of gloves signed by him. I hope he goes all the way and becomes a legend then they might be worth something on ebay.

DeGale is starting to get on my **** with his embarrassingly awkward attempts at trash talking. Starting to hope Groves shuts him up, although I have my doubts that he's capable.
