15% for Haye is very generous. I guess even the biggest mismatches are not more than 90-10.

No chance. 50-50 is being far to generous. I don't know where people are making up these %.

Haye has beaten NO ONE at heavyweight, and argueably lost to Valuev (a gift decision for him). The evaluation's of Haye are skeptical.

Haye has talked himself up about 'how good he is', but we are yet to see him fight anyone of any note, apart from a shot to shat Ruiz who even jabbed Haye around the ring on a few occasions.

Klitschko should win this bout, there is nothing to suggest Haye will blow Klitschko out. It's easier said than done at the end of the day. Haye says he will take away the jab, but I can't see it, not for 12 rounds.

I think Haye is being too underestimated here. Styles make fights and he has the style to give Wlad problems. Wlad looks amazing against guys who don't got much footwork and try to slug it out at him, but Haye has good footwork, has underrated defense and has power.

Wlad looks godly because he's just been fighting guys that have been tailor made for him. But what if Wlad isn't able to effectively use his jab? I don't buy the "Ruiz got to Haye!" But guess what? Haye couldn't spar for a month because of a cut...which can definitely change things. Plus Ruiz's style, prime or out of prime...makes everyone look bad.

Its a 50-50 fight but I think Haye will surprise people and use his ambush style to disrupt Wlad's rhythm considering Haye is a good deal faster.

I am happy this fight is being made.
I will be happy when I hear the bell ring.
Until then, I guess I will be holding my breath.

I think people might be misunderstanding Meehan a little.
Both of these guy can probably knock the other out. That's 50/50 for sure.
It probably a case of who can land first.
And that's where the odds go into Wlad's favor.

i think most people won't be convinced until they see haye in the ring with wlad.

there is much drama to happen between now and whenever the hell they r suppose to fight surely.

Oh yeah you are right I forgot Haye hit Valuev with so many punches I lost count. No actually you could most likely count on two hands how many times Haye hit Valuev with a clean power shot. But I will say in all fairness to Haye I can't stand him so I am just a little biased, and I can be.

With all that said I have not seen the compubox numbers for the fight and don't care to but I know with out a doubt that Valuev pressed the action and threw the most punches. And all he had to do in my opinion was land a third of the jabs that he threw and he won the fight. And the reason being is that Haye had done so little. Now you may say that Valuev did not hit Haye with many jabs. Well, I disagree. Valuev may not of hit Haye with the full impact of the jab, simply because Haye was in reverse for 95% of the time so when he did hit him it was way at the end of the jab. And Haye face was a little bruised up and they were using end swell on his face between rounds so Valuev was hitting him with something. Then you may say that Haye had the better power shots. But in reality most of his power looked flashy but they were wild and many were actually blocked by Valuev and some others were no more then glancing blows. If you get honest and watch the fight Haye barely hit him with clean power shots. So in my opinion the most effective punch of the fight was Valuev's jab. Because all Haye did was duck and run from it all night. Valuev also countered well on a few occasions and hit him with a few good power shots but because they were not fast and flashy they kind of got ignored in my opinion.

I was going continue but it really is a waste of time. Simply because I don't like Haye so any close fight, which it was, I will root against him. With that said the biggest reason I believe Haye lost, and I can't believe I am even going to say this, is because he did not take the fight to the champion. I have never been one that believed that the challenger has to take the fight to the champion to become the champion. Simply because if you win the fight you win the fight. However, if there was ever a fight in boxing history that that rule should have applied it would have been this stink fest of a fight. I look at like this at least Valuev tried. He came forward tried to engage Haye and and Haye did almost nothing in return. And I may be in the minority and I may even be wrong but I don't believe that is the way the once most prestigious prizes in sports should be won. But than again maybe that is why it is no longer all that prestigious in the sports world.

In closing I thought it interesting, and I am not going to pretend I know the history between the two, that Jim Watt had Valuev winning. There was also a British newspaper that had Valuev as the winner. So, I guess I can sit next to Watt and read that British newspaper on my next ride on the short bus. And of course I will save a seat for Haye. Because after Wlad the Impaler scrabbles his brain he may need a few trips on the short bus himself.
