this is a ****** fight imo. why is a top ten p4p fighter imo fighting mayorga?! if cotto wins, it doesnt mean much, if he loses then its a big mistake. why not get him in there with martinez, a fan friendly fight that means something. after all, cotto isnt getting any younger.

Mayorga isn't in the best of shape and I'm sticking with my original prediction: Cotto by stoppage from a devastating left hook to the body. Rd 1 will be a feeler rd with Mayorga trying to pressure some.

Rd 2, Mayorga will try to turn up the heat but Cotto evades the attack with footwork, Mayorga presses on.

Rd 3 Mayorga goes into full attack mode and is tired by mid rd and Cotto starts countering the heck out of Mayorga.

Rd 4, Mayorga tries to attack again and this time Cotto catches him to the body and Mayorga drops to the canvas. Mayorga gets up but Cotto stalks him and crushes him with another left to the liver and an uppercut and Mayorga drops again,this time he fails to get back up. KO Cotto in Rd 4.

while I easily see cotto beating mayorga (mayorga doesn't like body punches which are cotto's bread and butte) I can't help but root for the crazy bugger. Maybe he'll come out like he did in the first round against Tito, probably not but he can either make it an interesting slug fest or cotto puts him for a nap.

Still unhappy about having to pay full ppv price for this nonsense, both fighters had better make it worth it.
