Does Showtime do next week replays of their PPVs? I know HBO usually does, but don't recall if Showtime does it. I don't think this fight is PPV worthy, just like the Judah/Mabuza fight wasn't either. I love Cotto, but against side show Mayorga it hardly seems worth it.

Everyone should already know that everything coming from Mayorga is a show. It's his only claim to relevancy. If you taped Mayorgas mouth shut before a fight he would have absolutely no selling power . Cotto can ignore the B.S. pretty easy because he's heard it come from Mayorga before in all his other big pre-fight build ups. But, all his talk does make it all that more amusing when he gets his ass whipped by the end of the fight. And, in the big fights, he usually does.

That is a good question regarding Showtime replaying the fights! I was wondering the same thing because I, like you, do not think this is worthy of the hefty $50+ price tag. Mayorga's talk used to be amusing but now it is old and stale and other than Vargas, he's lost all his last big fights. I would like to see the fight so hopefully they replay it but no huge loss if they don't. At least we will get the middleweight unification on HBO that we don't have to pay extra for...

Now here is my problem, not with Mayorga but with fans overall in general! Let me explain: Ali and PBF talked a whole bunch of **** outside the ring. Hector Macho Camacho talked a bunch of crap also outside the ring.

Here is my problem. Why isn't anyone else jumping on Mayorga for calling Cotto gay? If PBF were to say this against Pac-a-Roid, most people would still be crying! Why does Mayorga get a pass with his non-sense while PBF is labeled a racist and what-not!

i think because his interviews are in spanish and don't get much attention from the press,thats the only think i can think of,where floyd goes on espn with brian kenney,he's been on tv more often,is more known to the casual fan and everything he does and his problems,his family,i don't know just guessing,he's more controversial maybe? dont know,but i think a lot has to do with the language thing,besides mayorga already angered some people it's not like he hasn't
