I wouldn't bet the house on Judah being a changed fighter just yet. I'm hoping he can keep it going with Pernell and turn his career around.Comment

I love the new professionalism of Zab which I always felt was a weakness of his..Very good answers and very well control answers..I say if Whitaker is doing all this with Zab he is doing something right..Comment

I've always liked Judah as a fighter, but always rooted against him because of his attitude. I'll be rooting for this Judah, though. If he brings back the old 140lb Judah, i think he could clean out the division.Comment

I've been saying for a while now that Zab needed to make a change and get his Dad out of there as lead trainer. Pernell should be really, really good for Zab if he can keep Zab focused. The only downfall about the situation for Zab (IMO) is that now he is constantly being compared to Whitaker. I would think that would get old for Zab after a while. But even when Zab had his little mini tantrum after the knock down call against Mabuza, he got himself together pretty quickly and didn't lose his focus. That was a good sign and an obvious step in the right direction. The old Zab would have fallen apart after that. I think the chemistry between Zab and Pernell is a great thing. Stay focused Zab and good things will be coming your way.
Side Note: Judah/Marquez fight would be a pretty good scrap, but I think Marquez would take it. Marquez is a master body puncher and I think he would wear down Judah to the body. If he takes the movement away from Judah, I think toe-to-toe, Marquez wins. He is incredibly accurate and one of the best counter punchers in the biz.Comment

I think the marriage of Zab and Sweet Pea could be the thing to save the rest of Zab's career. They have both been in the limelight, and both have fallen because of their own doing. I dont think that Zab is as egotistical as he used to be, and therefore the comparasions to Pernell wont even matter much if at all.
When it comes down to a Zab/JMM match up. I call it a 50/50 fight. Zab is just as experianced as JMM so I think that negates JMM's usual advantage in regards to experiance. If Zab can make JMM lead(Which I dont think is out of the question as JMM will lead if given the oppurtunity ie. Floyd/JMM), then he will lead JMM right into one of those sneaky southpaw uppercuts that he loves to drop, and we all know that JMM can be dropped. I think Zab handles pressure better knowadays as well. He sure as hell did against Matthysse. And that fight is looking better and better now. I'd like to see a rematch TBH.
Overall. I am glad to see this change in Zab, and hope to see him maintain this posture throughout the rest of his career. This is the kid who had the talent, skill, speed, and power to be a ATG at 140 and 147. I'd really like to see him salvage the rest of his career, and make a good case for the IBHOF.Comment

I like the sound of Judah-Marquez. I know Marquez fights 5 pounds under Judah but that's still a very good match up and it's not cherry picking at all. The 2 other better choices would be Bradley or Khan but they're busy. Judah should also forget about Pacquiao and 147, it's not that he's too small for 147, he just sucks at 147 he has 5 of his 6 losses there, he has only 1 loss at 140, that's his weight class. I backing Zab Judah in the whole 140 pound thingy.Comment

Ive always wanted to see a Marquez-Judah fight. It would be a great fight. Marquez could go for his 4th title in another weight class. Judah could test whether he's come around. I like it and hope it gets done. I dont know what Bradley is doing right now but if this one doesn't happen Bradley-Judah would be interesting.Comment
