In that case, the discussion stops, and we will see who comes knocking.

He will have more pressure on him to step up now.

I hope Canelo doesn't start to develop a Berto-like reign in order to get more experience under his belt. But it's hard to imagine otherwise, he would be crazy to face the top guys at 154 straight off.

Damn, the haters are gonna jump on him now, you have to back me up bro

I will have to go to great lengths to point out that the ****ty corrupt system that they accept/support, and therefore condone, is the only reason why this is even an issue.

That title was not at stake when that fight was first announced. So Canelo bent over and picked up the $20 that was lying on the sidewalk..... so what? That means nothing, he's still only little more than a top prospect.

Canelo not facing top opposition immediately just confirms that he has smart people looking after his interests, and that ABC belts aren't worth ****.

His own people know he has much work to do.. But the kid has charizma and as long as they continue to develop him I think he will be a good mexicanchamp. Cant hate on the young man for taking the belt, its not his fault they offered it up. If anything we need to be mad at the WBC for being such a joke
