Maybe Danny will now fight Herbie Hide. They where going to fight in June but Herbie got a terrible cut in a warmup fight. What an incredible break for Danny Williams. Couple of weeks later Tysons camp phones up and the rest is history. Hide might have knocked him out too.

What if Vitali says, "If you give Tyson a rematch and beat him again, I'll give you a rematch."

That would work, I mean, I know alot of people feel that VK and DW don't need to fight, and I myself think a rematch would play out pretty much the same way the first fight did, but that would leave no question as to who the better man was. I personally don't like Wlad's way of fighting someone, and if he loses, he just keeps on going without trying to redeem himself. I think Wlad should fight TOS again, and if he knocks TOS out, then rematch Sanders. If a fighter wants to be a real champ, these things need to happen. I think Tyson would take DW in a rematch, though.

I agree with what you're saying about WK rightfully in a moral sense.. but the HW division seems more open than the others, there are many options with many belts. Not that other weights aren't the same, but known and respected lower weight class fighters like Hopkins, RJJ, DLH, SM, MP, EM they have a legacy, if you will, which creates these awesome best of 3 fight scenarios. Losers of these often don't have too much success and glory for too long after, although they may become champ again etc.. But to be a HW, loose to the same person twice and then expect to be even a contender again, you'd have to aim at the possibility of a different 'alphabet'..

i was on a year-round swim team from third grade all the way through my freshman year of college, and even though swimming is alot different than boxing i can tell you that every time i lost a race to someone i wanted to swim them again - like maybe if i did something different i could beat them... of course the reality was always that i was just slower than they were and if i raced them 1,000 times i'd loose each time.
