I wasn't here in the US yet, but it was the hottest topic there in PI, especially the purse ($2.5M each I think) aside from basketball of course...

I was 11 year old during that time and our class in grade 5( or was it grade 6) was only in the morning. After our classes I walked home around 1.5 kilometers. You may not believe this but every house with TV I passed through was tuned in to the fight. When I reached home, my father with some of his friends were watching the fight so I watched the fight myself and saw how Ali played with frazier but got knocked down in the 14th round and lost. This fight made me a boxing fan.

Me and some of my friends in the neighborhood and the school talked about it the following morning.
