Firstly, thank goodness it’s signed.
Seems pretty clear that Wlad was stalling, but props to the big man, he signed. Mind you, i fully expect him to pull out approx 3 or 4 weeks prior to the bout so that VK takes his place. Not because Wlad is scared as such, but because it’s a game plan for the brothers, they can’t afford to see either man lose to Haye, so by putting a sneaky clause in the contract making Haye fight VK if Wlad pulls out means that if they employ this (they will) then the K’s have a much better chance at victory, bearing in mind Haye will have trained for Wlad.
Here in lies the problem.
I am sick of these two brothers ruling the glorious HW division with their odious contracts and re-match clauses etc, etc. They are the most boring sportsmen since Cliff Thorburn.
Boxing NEEDS them to be not just beaten, but destroyed. Utterly, knocked into next week, knocked unconscious.
The whole world, every member of the public, will be interested in the HW division again if this happens. Not since the days of Lewis / Holyfield and Tyson has this division been able to capture the imagination, and the fact that this fight has done so is down 100% to David Haye.
David Haye MUST WIN FOR THE GOOD OF BOXING
So for the sake of boxing as our favourite sport, for its future, for the excitement, for memories and for the razzle dazzle, please God above let David knock ten bells of **** out of both of these abdominal, odious creeps.
I pick Haye to knock out Wlad (if by a miracle Wlad doesn’t pull out of the fight) within 3 rounds.
