This is exactly why Canelo should have REFUSED that bs WBC belt.

If the hatton fight was a non-title fight, people would be saying that's a good fight for Canelo, he needs a fight like that at this stage in his career, etc.

Now he's going to be looked at like a paper champion because clearly he's not ready for the big names in the division and he wont be fighting any of them any time soon.
