he did expose him and he exposed the fact he couldn't bully around bigger fighters which forced him back down to 140.He always had exciting fights, that's for sure. He just wasn't professional. He should have taken better care of himself, and he easily would have lasted 2-3 more years. Blowing up in weight that much between fights IS NOT good for you. Secondly, you shouldn't drink six pints a day DURING TRAINING CAMP. I wish Collazo would have exposed him. Maybe he would have taken his career more seriously if he'd had a wake-up call.Comment

Exposed him, as in beat him. He did expose him to a degree, but when I was watching that fight live, I was really hoping for a KO or stoppage, which was right around the corner. Maybe it would have brought Ricky back down to Earth.Comment

a loss to collazo would have ruined him because then he couldn't use the excuse of only losing to the best fighters in the world.Comment

Its a known fact he didnt/doesnt take care of himself in between fights, but **** i still think he had 2-3 fights left no doubt, yall talkin like he retired officially, lol did he? If so thats a travesity i always wanted to see him fight JMM!!Comment

lol, it was the second round he felt he was winning.
If you watched the Matt/Alvarez fight you can see he's not training his ass off, I don't think a comeback is going to happen.I hope his training his ass off cuz he should and could rule 140 IMHO Saul, Bradley, JMM and other would be great test for him and i hope he comes back better... Any News on him????
I know what you mean though, the Hatton's bring so much excitement and colour to the sport, it's hard not to wish for the good old days sometimes.Comment
