Not really happy to hear that he didn't face off.

But if I had to guess, I'd say that came straight from Steward. Remember, Cotto's BIGGEST problem is getting lured into slugfests. Steward probably wanted him to do this so he could keep his composure cause if Cotto gets pissed and tries to slug it out with Mayorga, that's playing right into Mayorga's hands.
