  • If Pac Struggles With Mosley....

I think picking Shane was dumb on multiple levels, its just going to look bad if Pac does not beat him easy. What if Pac has to go to war with Shane or struggles mightily for a close or controversial win? It would fuel much doubt concerning who the best fighter in the world is. Yeah this is a triangle theory but Floyd beat Shane easy with a minor stumble.

Shane is now considered old, stale, and as Max Kellerman stated, not even a serious fight.

Should Pac struggle or even worse lose or get KO'd his claim as the best is gone. Marketability will probably take a hit too. Pac should of chose an opponent that Mayweather did not just embarass probably a junior welter would of been best, cause Shane, unlike Plasterito or Clottey, only needs one punch to put lights out.

He's going to beat him easy. Maybe early.

I hope Sugar beats his a$$.This fight is not on Mosley, who says no to a cashcow.I just know this was some serious cherrypicking & I hope they get a monkey wrench thrown into some gears over this. That said Manny is gonna beat the brakes off of Mosley,or at least he should.

Pac wins = Shane was done
Shane wins = Pac was exposed

I don't like the fight as much as the next person but some of you are fickle ass boxing fans..

This is a money fight. Useless fight for current fans. Although it will be significant after 50 years.

Reminds me of the Alvarez vs Hatton fight last Saturday. This is the same Hatton Floyd orignially set to fight in London two years ago.

No sense in criticizing Pac if you're a Floyd fan. Won't make any sense.

What assessment could you possibly give Pac should he struggle or lose to Shane? All I can suggest is a lot of doubt to his "greatness." He has given himself no room for a mediocre performance, they said they will beat Shane better than Floyd did......we'll see.

yea...then when you bring out the 'common opponent' theory, PAC supporters will bring up Hatton and DLH...then it goes on and on

only noobs would actually start highlighting triangle theories...the only way they could settle this is actually fighting in the ring

Mosley hasn't looked good in two years and suffered a pretty one-sided loss in that interim. This fight is all about the check for him. He's not beating no Manny Pacquiao and he'll be lucky if he wins more than two rounds. I do believe Manny will stop him early. Just a hunch.

Is that not always a risk? It makes it a bit worse if you consider the situation but if he ends up in any close fights that are not against one guy it will damage him.

That is the problem with being at or near the top only one way to go~
