Do I think Manny could beat Floyd? No. But the first thing Matthew Hatton did after losing to Canelo was say, "He was too big tonight." Really? Every advantage of a catchweight was employed for you and you still couldn't do it. At least Manny does it. You couldn't. So mad respect for Manny showing catchweights don't have an effect on you being able to win a fight even if you got all advantages of a catchweight for you. At least Manny didn't ask for an opponent to remain under 160 for fight night night. That's some ***** shiiiite! Disgraceful!

Yeah but people would've have been all over Pac if he had made a demand to remain under 160 for fight night. I'm surprised this example of catchweight abuse has flown under the radar. What's more it didn't work he still lost.

True, true. But let's look at it this way. Manny 148 rehydration for Margarito Hatton 157 rehydration for Canelo. The difference between Pac-Marg 148-165 the difference between Hatton-Canelo 157-165. 8 pounds to 18 pounds. With a catchweight of 150 pounds for both fights. (Title fights none the less.) Pac wins Matthew, doesn't and says he's to big for me to boot.
