Please gimme a ****ing break, Mayweather has already fought at 154 for a paycheck, surely he could fight Martinez at 154 for a challenge? Some of you Mayweather fans are Stans plain and simple. This guy will never take on a note worthy challenge, it's not about the challenge, he'd rather preserve his 0, so everyone in the hood could think he's the greatest thing since Wacka Flocka.

I don't think Martinez is ever seeing 154 again~ besides if you are going to fight the middleweight champ go for the gusto it is much more impressive.

It would take a lot away from the win~ making it a rather fruitless endeavor.
If you aren't into fighting a guy in his best possible condition (at the time), why bother~ especially in Floyd's case because he could never get credit that route.

That certainly doesn't fit the pattern of his career. I mean the guy made Marquez hurdle 2 weight classes, but he won't fight Martinez at 154? What's the difference in thought process? Martinez is fine and can make 154, whether not he'll be at his best is debatable.Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 03-09-2011, 04:11 PM.

If you want to do it right you go see a man at their best and Sergio is at his best at 160.
Who has Floyd dragged down from their weight class? He always went up to them and took their best shot in that situation so what is your point.

A smaller man can beat a bigger man if he is good enough, but an unhealthy man will never beat a healthy man.
