Cotto hurts fairly easily, but has strong legs. Hatton would be a 60-40 favourite, but Cotto is still a big talent. His promoters aren't doing him any favours at the moment though.

C'mon man dont be blinded...Hurt fairly easily? He got hurt from a punch that he didn't see against Corley, the same way Corley hurt Floyd. And he got hurt by Torres who IMO is one biggest punchers at 140...Can't wait for a match against Hatton...

agree 100%. Some of these people are just Cotto haters or Mayweather nut huggers.

He wasnt exposed but he was shown to be fallable, something we hadnt seen prior to this year. I've got a fifty pound bet on him to beat Mayweather should they ever meet - made when Mayweather was still a lightweight. Now I'm hoping that's one fight never made!!

I wonder if people felt Tito's chin was questionable early in his career. In his 16th pro fight he was knocked down twice in the 2nd round, in his 22nd fight he was knocked down once, in his 24 he was knocked down in the 2nd, 25th down once in the 2nd. By the time tito was 25-0-0 he was knocked down 5 times and look what he made out of his career. Cotto was knocked down once (questionable IMO) against a very strong puncher and he has great composure when he's hurt and that helpes him alot. I feel pretty confident that he will do fine against tough opposition.

I hope so, I like Cotto. His chin is the only questionable thing about him. His skills, and spirit are there, he's just got to be not so careless.

i agree cotto is overrated. He boxes average, chin is suspect,(sorry my friends), but the kid does have good composure once getting rocked. Once he get's in with hatton, or even gotti that will not help him because they know how to finish. Hopefully hatton, I would love to see hatton stretch him.

He was exposed in one sense: he is a human just like any other fighter, and he won't be able to just walk through the top comp. That doesn't mean he'll necessarily lose, though. He could definitely give any of the top guys a run for their money. After that, a move up to 147 may be warranted.
