Khan is very fortunate that the LWW division is average at best. He is the best out there but in Meldrick Taylor's day the division was very strong. Taylor came within seconds of beating Chavez and both were exceptional fighters. Khan is a very very good fighter with exceptional speed but not at the Chavez or Taylor level. This maybe partly down to the average level of competition out there for him. He just does not have any fighters out there that will force him to go up levels. My guess is if Khan were in the Chavez Taylor era he would be a better fighter than today's version because he would have to be to compete.

The LWW division is the deepest division in boxing, A weak division would be the heavy weight division or the superfeather weight division, LWW is a very strong division, Not to take anything away from Taylor but he was not the biggest puncher in the world.

I agree with you the LWW is one of the stronger divisions in TODAY,S boxing but relative to the past eras I really do not rate the LWW division. Quite frankly I feel boxing is going through a very poor patch in general with very few exceptional fighters out there. The LWW division was much tougher in the time of Chavez and Taylor. I see Khan as the best LWW right now followed by Bradley but there is no way Bradley would represent the same kind of challenge a Chavez or Taylor would.

Taylor was just too fast. That coupled with Khan's lack of chin...........I voted Taylor KO.
