Comments Thread For: Klitschko's Manager: Haye Fight 99% Done, 6/25 or 7/2

The manager of WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49KOs) has stated that a deal to stage a unification with WBA champion David Haye (25-1, 23KOs) is "99% done." The two sides are trying to finalize a date and a venue. Manager Bernd Boente told reporter Tomas Dierenga that June 25 and July 2 are two possible dates. The fight is going to Germany, as expected.

Lets hope Wlad doesn't, he's already pulled out of 2 fights recently.

The styles will most likely result in an average (unlike Vit/Haye) fight but the spectacle will be huge..

          Mayweather and Pacman take note...

If both fights come of this is the biggest year for boxing in some time

Hope it's June, with Khan Bradley in July it would make more sense. Also it's a week earlier so less time for one of these guys to pull a Houdini.
