Margarito's experience doesn't factor in as much as he'd just punch the hell out of Canelo. Canelo's defense is overrated and he'll get beat.

It's a shame because Canelo has a lot of speed he just doesn't use it, and he's not slick but could be if he had good training.

Uhhh... Margs would turn Canelo into ginger bread crumbs. There is a reason why he fought Mathew Hatton in his last fight. The difference between someone like Mathew Hatton and Margs is like night and day.

Don't get me wrong, I like Cotto and all, but as soon as Margarito fvkks him up in the rematch and then dominates another JMW like bunrange or dzinzirik alot of you haters will be praising him.

In no way shape or form can Canelo Alvarez fvkk with Margarito, but threads like this let me know how dellusional some posters are on this site. Maybe in 2 years or so, but Canelo is clearly not ready for a fighter of

Why would he clinch? He has an iron chin, it's Canelo who needs to clinch when Marge releases that uppercut.

People who fight like Margarito usually don't have long careers.At this point I believe Margarito is done on the elite level.They both have questionable defense.But Canelo is younger & hasn't been clobbered by the punchers that Margarito has.Plus Canelo has heavy hands & can throw combination's.
