Anybody else feel like this fight is fixed?

It just seems like everything has been set up for alvarez to win, and it's like Golden Boy isn't taking any chances on losing their prospect whatsoever.

He's fighting a welterweight who has no power, no notable wins, at a catchweight alvarez couldn't make, who has no business fighting for a belt, fighting for a paper belt...

And I'm just watching the fight right now, and it seems like everytime Hatton lands anything decent, he backs off. Who the hell backs off when they connect? He looks like he's scared to hurt him.

Everything just feels wrong - like alvarez isn't SUPPOSED to lose, and everything has been set up that way.

This is like, the next generation of over-hyping and hand-holding.

It's not fixed. I mean it's not like Hatton is losing on purpose.

Alvarez is just much bigger and more skilled than Hatton.

Dunno why it occurred to me, maybe because he's sitting ringside and he's also British, but I can't help feeling Khan, given this same opportunity that Hatton has been given (however slim his chances are), would expose this kid badly. As I think a lot of top opposition in the class would.

          Kirkland-Canelo would be ridiculous.

But yes. This fight is bull****.

I started getting doubts in the beginning of the third round when Hatton landed a double jab right cross combination and I was like "boom.. here we go.." and then what did he do? he jumped back and started moving around alvarez

It can't be his stamina because he's still hanging in there- why does he look like he's scared to hurt him?

                There's no follow up whatsoever.
