Basically its all in the style.... FM is an out-boxer.... a "sniper" a tactical / cerebral player... in the lines of Sugar Ray (Loenard), Roy Jones and Ali. The Pacman is a "puncher"-boxer (not to be confused by a "brawler" like Foreman & Tyson) - much like Sugar Ray Robinson, JC Chavez and Hearns - who wear their opponents down using combinations and then move in to score the knockout. Both however must be well rounded to be effective using this style. From here, it is best to say that FMs resistivity to a deludge of heavy punches - even if covered/blocked, will be the real test. Although he has shown some resistance to "punchers" like JMM he has yet to meet the kind of weighted punch Pac can deliver and in most particular, Pacs unorthodoxed punching and stance methods (which is not a typical blu-print boxing form) that is considered to be the moving factor in his arsenal.
We all know both can withstand 12 gruelling rounds, its a matter of precision and punch weight that is to consider. in this point... pacs numbers is a definite show.

I defined this for a fact that i consider to believe FM like Pac has no serious weakness - flaws maybe but never a weakness - that can only be seen when one compares each others strength, and numbers dont lie...

No but that's not what I'm saying, it's not that simple. fighters are more than just certain combinations of speed and power.

You're right tho, you don't go out there and TRY to be better than them, you go out there and BE better. that's why you train, to BE the better man. you don't just develop some skill set and say, "yeah I'm pretty well rounded but floyd is floyd so he would just kill me." thats being shook, its like floyd read the field of current fighters and developed a style that discourage them all from believing they could win.

I'm not saying I know the guy to do it, but styles are only limited by imagination and there IS a style to beat him, perhaps just not in this lifetime

the only strategy that will work is a simple one.

whatever you do, don't get emotional. be pretty, move good, cause he doesn't like it when you do that. relax relax relax easy does it and know that when you check that chin you will own his ass

There's fighters that did that and still got beat? What about shoulder rolling his punches?

That's absolutely true, and props to Floyd for it. I'll make it clear I'm a fan.

Fighter's have definitely tried the same OVERALL approach before and failed, but it's still the right overall approach. It's the only approach that gives you a chance in hell, unless maybe you are Pacquiao...

I wouldn't suggest trying to roll the kind of shots Floyd throws, when he jabs that spear through you it can't really be rolled. Most of the time a shot is rolled when it comes from too far or too far close, floyd will be in perfect lower body position and lower his head down and to the left as he lands the right, even if you rolled it, his head isn't up in the air after he lets his hands go so what the hell can you counter? maybe you could roll and counter to the body, but not the head

i know thats a little hard to follow but we're starting to talk exchange-by-exchange technical ****

Honestly Marquez had a great approach, a great mentality going in but he didn't have the fire and he's too small. He knew it himself, he got in there and knew what would work, but he knew it would lead to him reaching, over extending himself and then really getting cracked. he lacked the physical ability, but maybe in 30 years or so Marquez will be training some kid down in mexico and teach him the tricks he picked up from old floyd mayweather.

I hate to go back to some mid 2000s **** on you, but if cotto would've got in there with floyd right after mosley....

                scratching my head

                tyson wasnt a brawler.

puncher resistance then you mention jmm? floyd took shanes punches like a champ then became aggressive.

                pac has no weaknesses? WOW.

                your post fails
