Yup. The crazy eyes are going to beat the hell out of JMM. It'll be a massacre.

Not really. Maybe if Maidana were several inches shorter and many pounds lighter on fight night, but he isn't.

The fighting style is similar to what JMM does well with. But so many wars, so many cuts, so many close calls, Maidana is a missile, JMM is only a target.

An old fool chasing something he won't ever reach, four division championships.

I think size will prevail, erik morales was the beast out the greats and I honestly dont think Marquez will handle them shots well from Marcos just imo.

Unless Marquez starts fighting like he is the age he is then I fancy him to give Chino a beating

When Maidana fought an " old " Erik just a couple of yrs ago. Erik Morales gave Chino hell for 12 rounds and it was close and competitive. JMM is still looking good and only having a bit of trouble with boxers because of movement. Maidana will be there to hit and JMM can crack too. Plus JMM is a genius counter and body puncher...I have JMM on this one , with mush respect to both. If Khan can drop Chino with a body shot, so can Juan.

I thought about this fight before.

I think it would be tough. Marquez got caught by Katsidis and put on his butt. But he can adapt. I think after you KD Marquez, he analyzes the punch you KD'ed him with and the rounds preceding that KD, he basically avoids that punch until the fight finishes.

I think Marquez wins by decision, because he is so good at adapting, counterpunching, and he packs a punch from 135-147, as shown against Casamayor, Diaz, Katsidis, and Pacquiao.
