it took floyd like till he was 28 to start considering promoting his fights
also took oscar quite a while
canelo is not even 21 and hes already taking a % of this fight revenue, he also has already promoted two world title bouts and has signed many mexican prospects( of course eddy reinoso helped him)
really amazes me how mature this guy is for his age, it is unheard of from a mexican fighter to do this, most are just so gratefull for being in the spotlight and having an opportunity to get out of poverty or support their family

That's not true. There are a couple of Mexican fighters who have their own promotional company already. For instance, Juan Manuel Marquez's Romanza Promotions and Morales' Promociones Box Lation. You should probably give credit to the actual pioneer of these kind of promotional companies, Oscar De La Hoya.
