according to the publicity at the time it was NOT a "sack of money (that was Don King's trick with Hasim Rahman to steal him away from Cedric Kushner) it was a cheque, which, i believe was never cashed and was returned.

Honestly, I don't know why all these people make such a big deal of Pac being a "congressman" in the Philippines. He is congressman from a very poor province in which his wife is from, he is very rich and famous and he promised to bring them lots of treats(build a hospital etc.). Becoming a congressman in the Philippines doesn't take much. If u have a name and some money, u are almost there. Imelda Marcos, the widow of Filipino brutal dictator Ferdinand Marcos is a congressman as well after living in exile for years. Not to mention her son was the previously in that congressional seat. Does that tell u something?
