Eventhough im a fan of all British boxers, this made me laugh!

I see when Christy Martins fight was pulled out of the Cotto-Mayorga event mostly everbody was happy and with the recent addition of womans amataeur boxing to the 2010 Olympics what do you think about it?

I could care less about any sport revolving around women to be honest.

I think its a matter of of starting out years behind. I see many men in fights that bore me just the same. Anyone seen the skill level of the We have to give it time to develope. Early mens boxing wasnt all that great either. BTW the WNBA is pretty good.

I don't think any the fights would give me much a buzz because the lack of ko power I wouldn't like to see a women getting knocked out either .
I'll probably route for the we Irish world champ tho in the olympics she's good 5 times Euro's 3 times world .

In time, and as more and more women take up the sport, the standard will improve. There is no reason why two evenly-matched women can't put on an entertaining fight.

It's hard for me to watch a woman being beaten, even if by another woman. Some men find something "sexy" about it, but I think it's rather repulsive.

And this has nothing to do with the fact that they are less athletically inclined. I have no problem with women playing soccer or basketball, as long as they aren't beating each other.
