Then why walk away from the Haye fight in December to lure Chisora back to the fight? The whole situation doesn't make sense.

I've read (don't remember the sourse, sorry) that the contract with Chisora indicates that in case of injury, Klitschko has 30 days to arrange another fight (a fight with Haye), otherwise he must reschedule fight with Chisora. Wlad didn't manage to reach an agreement with Haye in December-January in 30 days so the fight with Chisora postponed to a later date. However, since Klitschko will not be able to recover to this new date, he again has 30 days to reach an agreement about another fight.

Many soccer players have same injuries. Wlad is 35 years old. More than 20 years in sport. Injuries happens, just simple. And they nead time to recover if you are not take something to heal it up more quick.
