Well Michalczewski's fights must of been shown live in America, at the end of the day Michalczewski wasn't anywhere near as popular world-wide as a Chris Eubank at his peak.

The traditional way to head for a World title is to go for a British title then a Commonwealth title then a European title and then work your way into number one contender spots for a World title. Commonwealth level is a step up from British level, and European level is a step up from Commonwealth level, just as the British title is a step up from a British Area title and winning the Lord Lonsdale belt outright is a step up from winning the British title.

The Commonwealth title is for about 100 different countries including Canada, Austrial, Great Britain, South Africa etc. It's just that British fighters are usually better than the other fighters from the Commonwealth countries, so more fighters from Britain hold the Commonwealth title than from any other country.

I just deleted it because anybody can go the Commonweath boxing website and look at their rankings.
