DM has never fought in america and i hear about him much more than i hear about eubank.Originally posted by JUYJUYWell Eubank is very unknown in America, he never fought there and his fights weren't publicised there
if he wasnt that publicised, that means he wasnt worth the press' time.Last edited by TheEvilSaint; 09-11-2005, 10:03 PM.Comment

The Lord Lonsdale title was the first ever boxing title, the oldest ever boxing belt. If you win a British title and defend it successfully three times, you win a Lord Lonsdale belt outright.Originally posted by McKayIs the Britsh and Commonwealth Title the same thing as the Lord Lonsdale title that you hold in such high regard?
And the Commonwealth title has nothing to do with the British title.Comment

OH, It seems most holders of the Britsh Championship also hold the Commonweath belt. Cause of my confusion.Originally posted by JUYJUYThe Lord Lonsdale title was the first ever boxing title, the oldest ever boxing belt. Well maybe because he was around until 2005, Eubank retired in 1995. Michalczewski is quite well known in America, but he's not very well known elsewhere outside of Germany because his fights weren't shown world-wide like Eubank's were on world-wide ProBox, Dariusz's fights were Universum which is just Germany and I think some Eastern Europe (Poland, Austria, Russia).Originally posted by TheEvilSaintDM has never fought in america and i hear about him much more than i hear about eubank.Comment

All his fights were on Eurosport I thought. At least most of them. I have one his fights on file that was filmed by a British TV station.Originally posted by JUYJUYWell maybe because he was around until 2005, Eubank retired in 1995.
