Morales vs manny rd 12 first fight

that was one of the most epic, badass things Ive seen in boxing. and thats saying something. and it just keeps getting more impressive in hindsight.

My favorite part of that round is when its mostly over and he switches over to righty again and could have taken over...but then hears the 10 second warning and his body language jsut screams '...**** it' and switches back to southpaw just to go to war again in the last seconds.

totally unnecessary, and after probably his most dominant round of the night in the 11th and when he could have likely easily controlled the 12th

i know i got a boner.....my fav boxing moment of my life..my dad met morales at a michael carbajal party here in az...my dad grabbed his arm cause he was trying to squeeze in to get by and morales flinched at my dad....erik said my bad natural reaction...hahahaha bad ass.....MY FAVORITE FIGHTER OF ALL TIME

and for the record, Morales was already past prime going into the 1st Pacquiao fight, and had lost it by the time the second fight came about, which is why Zahir Raheem beat him one sidedly(more so than Pacquiao)

Im glad you made this thread because it is my favorite fight in my lifetime. It gets looked over so much but the feeling I got from the opening bell was child like and I was well into adult years. It was high with emotion from both sets of fans and that sound in the building (not that I was there) was priceless. My boy Morales was what I call dumb good in that 12th round. I still wish he would have buckled down right handed and tried to KO Pac. Cant trade that moment of screaming at the television though "Erik what the **** are you doin you dumbass you won". LOL

EM was shot in their first fight and still beat that ass. so they had to get him down in weight to beat him.

my fav fight of all time to...seeing my family cheer erik on and talking about what he did all night that day was amazing..my fam are die hard fans all the way back to my great grandpa.....i never seen my fam go on and on about a fighter like that night
