So you tell me. Is not my fault Cubans always decorate their athletes to the point of over hyping them. But whatever.

I always stay quiet when they speak , because its so hard to get involved in biased conversations. But I enjoyed it so much inside. It was a great night. And I feel sorry for Despainge , it was nothing against him. I wasnt rooting against him. But Like I said, a few minutes before the fight started , these were the lines coming from the cubans.

"No oilvidate que ese flacito se cae en 2" , "Despainge es mucho pa ese tipo , mira pa alla que flaco acere" , and just similar stuff , already taking sillakh out of there without the fight even starting.

So it is to harsh for me to say what I said. Sorry if it hurts you bro. Even as I made a stop at my local supermarket to pick up some beer. All you hear is the old and young cubans , praising their guy. I dont have anything against that. IMO cubans are the best pure boxers. Period , no ifs or butts , they are very talented. But is enjoyable watching ppls faces when they swear they are hot **** and are shown otherwise.

Kind of like how I feel about the Heat. Maybe if Lebron would have singed with us quietly , and he had not done it thru national t.v , and if espn wouldnt be nut hugging them and already making them a contender , then maybe their failure wouldnt also be so celebrated. Not that I even wanted Bosh or Lebron. I could have sworn amare was coming to Miami. And then when he went to n.y , I could have sworn lebron will follow him.

I actually wanted boozer over Bosh. But oh well. The Heat is the team I like , and i guess Ill root for them , no matter whos ontheir roster.

Dont take it to the heart. And no , it doesnt really affect me when I go to sleep. It doesnt affect me at all , other than for those few minutes when I see them so surprised. So confused. Its hilarious. Its a kodak moment.
I was jus kidding bro lol I think your in Laws were too emotionally attached, i go to a cuban forum all the time and i hear the same thing all these defectors are going to sweep boxing blah blah blah, those type of fans dont really know much about boxing all they do is watch the olympics and then the cubans once they turn pro. despainge was never the goods, next willl be johnson dont let your in laws fool you as soon as johnson steps up in competition he is done bro. The only quality cubans in the game right now are lara, rigo , gamboa and somewhat solis (even though he is out of shape),theres a good crop of younf kids but theres still a long way to go. believe me man i know what you are talking about i told these "type of cuban fans" that avalos is beating barthalemy and that despainge could lose and that klitsko is giving solis an a$$ whooping and they call me an anti cuban and a communist. lmao go figure.

I had a feeling despainge was going to loose but never thought he was going to get dominated like that. But the fight vs paines told me all i needed to know about despainge.

the heat needs a bench thats their problem, and they need to give the rock to d wade at the end of games he is one of the best closers in the nba, but i guess they dont want to mess with lebrons ego

Those people embarrass me. They want to own the world...no one does. I'd be happy with a couple of real world champs. If one of our guys becomes a superstar, I'd be beyond happy.

I've said it before, Despaigne never really impressed me. What did impress me was how Sillakh toasted him. And I also agree about Yudel Jhonson. I think he's slightly better, but he's nothing to get excited about. Even with his weight issues, I'd be more hyped about Solis if the Klitschkos were never born. lol

exactly, like i told those guys some of them will make it and be pretty decent pros and some of them won't, cubans are not superhumans or anything like that they are good boxers but just like every other country some will make it and some wont simple as that. Johnson is out of shape and has no pop for the most part; he is facing gutierrez later in march i wouldnt be surprised if gutierrez shocks him even though gutierrez is washed up.

That's something Yudel and Yordanis have in common, no pop. Despainge landed a few stiff jabs in the fight versus Sillakh, but that was it. Any time he tried to land a power shot, he was wide and weak. His wrists break on impact. By contrast, every one of Syllakh's punches landed with a hard *thwack!*

Syllakh reminds me of a skinny Major League pitcher. He might be thin, but his mechanics allow him to throw with tremendous velocity.
