This thread is ridiculous. First off all I think most of you grossly under rate Vanes Martirosyan. Hes done better than Angulo with like opponents. Anyone who is really confident in Margaritos beat up, old, cheating ass against anyone his own size is pretty off base. Cotto is undersized and highly damaged at 154 at this day and age. Cintron has shown he can be beaten down and out boxed. Pre prison James Kirkland doesnt exist anymore.
Im not saying Canelo beats all these guys, not at all. But he certainly COULD beat any of them, on any given day. This division is wide open, and prospects like Vanes and Canelo definitely have a shot.

Now don't get me wrong I like canelo I think he has potential and he seems like a nice guy. But the way GBP hypes this kid and basically handed him a belt is a ****in travesty.
he has a good chance of beating vanes, the rest beats him imo

I can only see him beat Vanes/Lara but the rest would beat him.

It's tough to know just what Alvarez is right now. Good record, big hype, he does have knockout power. We'll see.

Now Alvarez and David Lemiux, that's a fight I'd take right now.

That's a very intriguing comment coming from a Manny Pacquiao fan. Pacquiao has never fought at 154 yet he won the WBC 154 title at the same ****** 150 catchweight that Canelo-Hatton will take place. Margarito and Pacquiao did not deserve the WBC belt over the other top 154 guys who have actually been fighting there. The WBC is a joke, it's just a catchweight organization, with all of there Silver, Diamond belts at catchweights. Hatton-Canelo is as big as a joke as Pac-Margarito only there are no cheaters involved in this one.
