I think Ike was a crazy version of Evander Holyfield.... tough..doesn't back down...to this day the only one to go toe to toe with David Tua for an entire fight.. he didn't back down. How he caught Chris Byrd.. he practically decapitated him,, he walked Byrd down & got him. Ike would've been special & would've been an alltime great..no doubt about it.. He was fearless.. Ike vs Tyson would have been one for the ages as Ike didn't ashow fear & was just as crazy as Mike. Who knows what would've went down if those 2 would've fought. Holyfield vS iKE prime for prime = complete... no doubt.Comment

He didn't actually make Tua run but he did back him up at times. The fact that he traded shots & this fight set compubox records for punches thrown was very impressive indeed & what he did to Byrd that no one could at the time. He handled a slugger & a boxer like no one could with brilliance. A real shame he went bonkers as some of the matchups we missed out on vs Bowe..Lewis,, Holyfield.. Tyson & even the Klitschko's never materialized as they would've been classic fights & i'd pick him to win some of those fights.I think he would have beaten Lewis. The way he stood toe toe with Tua impressed me, even though this could have been the reason he lost his marbles. My dad and i used to argue about this, even though back then i was rooting for Lewis, as i gotten older i realized this man was the complete package..good chin, speed power, stamina. He would, has someone said earlier, been the real nightmare for any fighter who faced him. Most ppl run away from Tua's power this man made Tua run.Comment
