floyd was officially broke going into the marquez fight. that is wy he had to hire GBP to co-promote the fight with him - mayweather didn't have the money to put UP FRONT to finance and market the fight. (NOTE: FLOYD DID DO THIS via his own promotional company for the hatton fight). Floyd now has about 10 million in the bank, and another 15 million of total assets (property, cars, yachts, etc). The yachts, cars, and ***erly are useless, though. Unless you are Horus and think that **** like Yachts are investments

Arum is using Pac to systematically dismantle GBP. So far, they're missing out on:

Pacquiao-Mosley (1+ million buys)
Pacquiao-Marquez (1+ million buys)
Pacquiao-Mayweather (3+ million buys, doubtful it happens though)

But like Pac said, let's see if Don King can work miracles and get Floyd to fight, didn't work last fall though. Let's all cross our fingers and think happy thoughts

You do know that going broke and owing money to the IRS is two different things right? PBF networth was around 100 mil last year. Stop getting your figures from gossiping sites with not factual backing. At least show me a Forbes, or Time link plz. Yeah, it's pretty clear that they did and they're both on the same page. But I'll take it a step further- I'm thinking they already had talks concerning specifics of the fight and have hammered out all the major details (split, venue, etc) which is why both are saying it would take an hour-one meeting to finalize it. They're just waiting on Floyd to give the indication he wants the fight and is ready to end his vacation. That's where the devil's advocate with the silver tongue comes in...

They should not be don't making up excuses and if the boxing association doesn't feel the need of blood testing then its not needed. Some of the people in here are rocket scientist when talking about floyd is broke. Why would a man who has no money sit out a whole year? Don't you think with May's drawing power he would be trying to rack up as many fights as possible? These people are just obvious Floyd haters. He made 40 million plus against Mosley while Pac only stands to make 20 million and thats if the ppv buys crack a million. But lets not forget about Arums 27% and GBP 13% and Uncle Sams take...and then he pays everybody....you guys do the math...

Listen up you ****ing Moron. In order to promote yourself you need to have a promotion license which he does not or Manny so they need to co promote w a licensed promoter. Go do your homework before you talk out of your ass again.

You act like it is hard to get a boxing promotion license in Nevada; it isn't. You get a $10k bond or post a CD in that amount, fill out an application, pay $51, give fingerprints of all officers of the company and submit to background check. It is incredibly simple. Mayweather would be a complete idiot to pay millions of dollars to GBP rather than going through these very limited steps to get a promoter's license in Vegas.
