I hope to god HBO knows nobody wants to see a Cotto rematch. Marquez would be a good fight, but I'm 100% sure money is going to be a big issue. Victor Ortiz on the other hand won't price himself out so he's more likely than Marqez.

I dont think Ortiz/Rios is even an option with the weight difference right now. Ortiz is now a welterweight while Rios is a lightweight. I dont think Ortiz can make 140 anymore.

I'd like to see Berto - Ortiz very much, especially if they both bring it. But is this fight even happening? It's quite late, and no official announcement yet. Considering the date of the fight you'd expect them to be in the middle of the promotion rush. Frankly, it seems like its a bit too late, I wonder who is holding up the fight?

And Ortiz claims he can still make 140 easy. Reason he's not fighting there, according to him, is everyones ducking him at 140 - including Maidana.

that's obvious. GBP is trying to cash out on ortiz, but they won't let TR or rios make money or their reputation off ortiz.

Ortiz/Berto is going to be a good ass fight I think. Both guys have questionable chins, both guys have weak defense, both guys are explosive.

This should have been the fight to happen, but as we know Ortiz had his heart taken by Maidana..IMO bad fight for Ortiz Rio's even if he did not carry his power up with him he would be danerous ,Ortiz's punch resistance is not good anymore..Peterson was backing him off and Peterson(although he punches with conviction)is not the same kinda puncher like Rio's is..I think Berto is more vulnerable then Rio's would be,Rio's would be willing to die in the ring to beat Ortiz..I say Rio's is a bad fight for Ortiz but I would love to see it..
