look closer. most of DLHs shots are blocked, and Chavez was landing hard shots to the body and short uppercuts. looked like Chavez was taking it easy in there.

How come Delahoya forgot how to throw left hooks to the body when he fought Floyd ? Oh I forgot Black dudes very seldom teach body punching. Floyd Sr ruined Delahoya Delahoya threw body punches like a 1 year amatuer slapping with his palms

Oscar talks about this moment in his book. He said he drove to the gym in LA to spar JCC and when he got there, Shane Mosley was also there waiting to spar JCC.

They both ended up sparing him the same day and I think there's footage of Mosley sparring him as well.

You could see how good Oscar was even at that age.

In the book, did he mention getting dropped?

There was also a rumor that Chavez dropped Oscar with body shots a couple times in sparring sessions. But after watching this and hearing those other rumors it's no wonder why these guys really went at it when they finally met in the ring. I remember Oscar going ape **** when he had Chavez cut.
