Comments Thread For: Saul Alvarez: Hatton is a No-Hoper, I Cannot Lose!

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is giving Saturday's opponent, Matthew Hatton, no shot at victory. He predicts a brutal stoppage at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. They face off for the vacant WBC junior middleweight title. Hatton, the registered underdog, is moving up in weight to face Alvarez at a catch-weight of 150-pounds, but there are new reports the fight is going to take place at the full division limit of 154.

I know I may be wishing on a long shot but I hope Hatton can beat Canelo. Just off the strength he said I cannot lose, I want to see the upset but most likely won't happen. Good luck to both men and may the better man win.

Well he's going to have a hard time ever being taken seriously again if he does lose. Probably not a good idea to let that belt get wet either, plus he should keep it away from fire.

          Canelo, Golden Hype Job

GBP is a joke, this fight is a FARCE, Like a WWE show, you already know the outcome cause its been scripted and written in advance. Boxing Fans need to Boycott HBO's version of the WWE, by not watching this garbage. WBC is corrupt of course, these type of shenanegins only hurt the sport, anger the fans. GBP has nothing , a sinking ship, i hope Marquez doesnt re-sign with "chicken" de la hoya productions, And Canelo is hype, slow, a brawler by nature, who will get clipped as soon as he fights some real competition.

Of course Canelo is going to win. There was a plan for him to win all along. One by saying the fight would be at a ****** catchweight, then by suddenly changing the weight to the original limit of 154lbs. I Can't stand it when promoters use these tactics to give theiir fighter the edge. Win the dam fight fair in square Canelo, or better yet, fight a worthy opponent and at a real weight. One more thing, stop trying to say that Hatton is dangerous and that he is a risk. No he is not and you are coming in with all the advantages.

They should allow Matthew Hatton to kick.
