He's very good, anyone who can beat a fighter like Froch in their 19th fight is definitely really good. You have to wonder about the guy though.

      Yeah I think he's good.

He does lack a bit of heart though.

Dirrell may not have as much courage and determination as your average forum poster but come on the guy has lightening fast hands and feet, his reflexes are amazing aswell. I think he would beat most of the top 10 at 168. Once the dust has settled from his super six antics i have no doubt Dirrell will be fighting for a world title in no time.

he's certainly talented in terms of the gifts he brought with him to the sport and wakes up with each morning

but he's yet to put together a dominant performance for 12 rounds

he was running scared of carl froch (a guy he should have tatoo'ed with his handspeed and footspeed)
not only would he run and hold, he'd drop to a knee to avoid contact or avoid having to work to avoid contact, not what you want to see from a top tier prizefighter.

thats the lack of pro experience, in amateur boxing the things that make him look at the ref would be illegal. they threw him to the wolfs so early in his pro career he never got a chance to adjust to the pro ranks before taking on world champions, some of the most rugged fighters in all of boxing.

he shouldve stepped up in competition more slowly, he never even been ina fight scheduled for 12 rounds when he fought froch, much less went teh full 12. thats crazy to put a guy that inexperienced in with a fighter of frochs caliber.

                i agree with you though.

Maybe, but IMHO he was more interested in getting his name out there, then really fighting the best fighter at smw.

Great skills and athleticism but has stamina issue an lacks heart. I like watching his fights though.
