About four to five years ago I used to think that Soto would be someone to follow; however, after so many lackluster performances (against Gamaliel Diaz, Joan Guzman, Francisco Lorenzo 2, Fidel Monterosa, and David Diaz) I am convinced that he is a solid fighter and no more. For the most part, whenever he steps up in competition he underperforms and loses, or just does enough to win. He very seldom makes a statement. The fact that he just had a great performance and win against Antillon makes me want to beleive in him; however, his history makes it very difficult to do so. If he knows what's good for him, he will perform well on Saturday night and KO/dominate his opponent. If not, than he will just make my statements true. We'll see how it goes.
