    Hopkins vs Trinidad

Damn I am no B-Hop fan, but I just re-watched his entire fight with Trinidad and My Dear God he put on an absolute clinic. That was literally a breathtaking performance and IMHO possibly the best of his career. I realize Trinidad was a blown up WW and the naturally smaller man, but for Hopkins to shut one of the hardest punchers in boxing history down like that was truly remarkable. If you don't think B-Hop is one of the greatest Middleweights of all time you are smoking crack rock. My God can you imagine B-Hop against Hagler in their primes?

A great fight for B-Hop,that fight got him the recognition he deserved.Tito was a bonified middleweight by then, had already destroyed a true middleweight champ too.He just got dominated by a boxing genius.I do consider Tarver & Pavlik equal to that though.

What's funny was that this fight was also for the SRR trophy, which BHOP later stated had Titos name already on it.. Burn
