Not to mention, he only has two losses. His first loss was an ill-advised payday grab well outside of his normal weight. The second loss was for his title against a fighter that is a consensus top 10 P4P fighter.
So apparently, anyone who loses his title (RING lineal title mind you) is a bum who deserves no chance to try the comeback road. Not like any other non-white fighters got another opportunity.
Oh wait...
Bernard Hopkins, a black fighter, lost TWICE to Jermain Taylor but was given another shot at another weight and proved he wasnt washed up.
Manny Pacquiao, a non-white and non-American fighter, got KTFO against Medgoen Singsurat (losing his lineal title) and also got KTFO by Rustico Torrecampo. I think he got other chances and did ok.
Wladimir Klitschko, a non-American fighter, got KOed against Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster (not to mention losing some guy named Ross Puritty). Looks like things worked out for him.
All Pavlik did is lose to a boxing legend out of his weight class and a guy well on his way to be in the HOF. Yeah, he doesn't deserve another chance (yeah, right).
