floyd is an ass, but he's smart though...

He is broke now. His last fight purse was to pay Golden Boy back for covering his back unpaid taxes. He will have to liquidate property for attny. fees. If he were to fight three more times he might be comfortable but not with the lifestyle he's accustomed to.

Isn't it hard to break bad habits? Like ******** and being a spendthrift. He'd need to get over things like that to not go broke again. It happens to many boxers, so I pick third option.

Yes, 100% absolutely. And when it happens, it will be the best thing that ever happened to him. He may learn some humility and actually do something worthwhile with the rest of his life, like share his talent, teach kids to box, become a real role model for the kids that admire him.

i think he'll be okay. i still think he'll end up fighting late 2011 or early 2012 to some tune up fight. the megafight w/ manny is iffy, it could see it happening, i could see it not happening. if he takes it, he'll be rich for as long as he lives...
but i think he is going to be straight. promotions and other stuff he'll be doing after his true retirement will keep him living good imo.

he will be broke pretty soon if he's not already broke. his lifestyle, his lawsuit and not fighting for a year must have cost him way more money than he was making. not smart!

He would already be retired if he had money. Now he will probably hold out till Pacquiao retires and then return to make some money.

What does "end his days" really mean?

If it's his net worth at time of death, then that's a long way off.
Too far in the future to predict easily, but there's far too much
"cause indicative" that he won't be very wealthy.

His only successful revenue stream seems to have been boxing,
and that's not going to be viable for very much longer. It would
not be such a critical issue, given the millions made per fight, it
it wasn't for his balls-out profligacy.
